A Brief Profile of Ml.Hassen Dockrat Saheb.
Birth: 1956, South Africa
Moulana Hassen Saheb started his elementary Islamic studies in White River and later on in Pretoria under the guidance of Hafiz Patel (RA) (father of Moulana Farouk Patel sahib of darul uloom Zakariya), Muhtaram Munshi Ghulam Abed sahib (RA) and Moulana Ahmad Garda Saheb (RA) and other luminaries.
Thereafter Moulana enrolled at Waterval Islamic institute (Mia’s Farm) to complete his Hifz ul Quran studies under the tutelage of Hadhrat Hafiz Abdurahman Mia Saheb (RA).
Moulana proceeded to India/Pakistan in 1977 for four months jamat and thereafter enrolled in Ashraful Madaris, Hardoi under the guidance of Hadhrat Moulana ABrarul Haqq (RA) for Hifz dhor.
Thereafter Moulana enrolled at Falahe e Darain, Tarkeshwar in 1978 for the Alim Fadhil course and graduated in 1985. Amongst Moulana’s asaatizah at Falahe e Darain were:

Moulana taught all different Islamic sciences (Hadith, Tafsir, Principles of Fiqh, Fiqh as well as other sciences) at Darul Uloom Azaadville for 23 yrs in addition to being the Nazim ut Talim (HOD) of the Alim faculty. Moulana was the Ustadh of Hadith (Bukhari Shareef and Mishkat Shareef) at Jamiah al Uloom Al Islamiyyah (Jamiat Fordsburg) for 5 years of which 3 years Moulana served as principal also.
Currently Moulana is the founder and principal of Darul Uloom Madrasatus Saadiqeen and Saadiqaat (Islamic centres of Higher learning for males and females) EST 2014 based in Robertsham, Johannesburg, South Africa. Moulana lectures also quite extensively in both the institutes.
Moulana has visited many countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Reunion Islands, Zambia and others delivering lectures at many Masaajid and institutions.
Moulana has Islahi ta’aluk with Hadhrat Moulana Ayoob Surti Saheb (DB) and has ijazah from Hadhrat Moulana.
